1. Who We Are

ThermoLogic is a product of Refrigeration AI Inc. ("we", "us", "our"). We build AI-powered tools for industrial ammonia refrigeration professionals. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our website at refrigeration.ai and the ThermoLogic mobile application.

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

• Account information (name, email, phone number) when you sign up or apply as a design partner
• Facility data you enter: equipment nameplates, gauge readings, operating parameters, system descriptions, and photos
• Application form responses for the design partner program
• Support requests and communications

Information Collected Automatically

• Device information (device type, operating system, app version)
• Usage data (features used, session duration, crash reports)
• For enterprise pilot partners: SCADA/HMI/sensor data ingested through our edge device, with your explicit authorization

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide AI-powered refrigeration intelligence specific to your facility
• To build and improve your facility's digital twin and equipment profiles
• To generate compliance documentation, maintenance recommendations, and energy insights
• To communicate with you about your account and our services
• To improve ThermoLogic's accuracy and capabilities

4. Data Isolation

Your facility data is never mixed with other customers' data. Each facility has its own isolated data environment. Your data trains YOUR AI instance -- never anyone else's. We do not sell your data. We do not use your facility-specific data to train models for other customers.

5. Security

We employ industry-standard security practices including AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 for data in transit, access controls, and audit logging following SOC 2 Type II standards. For enterprise deployments, our edge devices communicate exclusively over encrypted channels.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

You own your data. You can export your facility data at any time. If you request deletion, we will remove all your data within 30 days. Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days, after which it is permanently deleted.

7. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services to operate ThermoLogic, including cloud hosting providers, authentication services (Clerk), and AI model providers. These services process data in accordance with their own privacy policies and our data processing agreements. We do not share your facility-specific operational data with third parties for their own purposes.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you and your facilities
• Export your data in a standard format
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent for data processing

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notification. Continued use of ThermoLogic after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
